Dimension Network Systems designed, implemented and wirelessly distributed the internet feed for all the delegates at the Annual 3 day Future Internet Assembly European Conference in The Helix, DCU.

The requirement for each of the 800 delegates was to provide them with uninterrupted guaranteed bandwidth for laptop and Smartphone connectivity while working in close proximity in various workshops and major event presentations.

The wireless network performed exceptionally well and drew many compliments from attendees during the 3 day event.

Dimension Network Systems , has just completed the deployment of an Ekahau Real-time Location System (RTLS) in the Killure Bridge Nursing Home to improve the safety of residents and staff. With Ekahau RTLS, the Nursing Home staff has complete visibility into the location and status of residents and other staff members. Patient tracking in the nursing home is used to alert staff if wandering patients enter a restricted area or leave a designated area. By continuously monitoring the patient’s location, the RTLS system is able to alert and inform hospital staff on the location of any given patient. The system is also used for communication with nurses and care assistants throughout the location via instant messages sent from the Nurses Stations.
